Im Einzel gewann Steffi Graf gegen Chris Evert mit 4:6, 6:2 und 6:3. Im Doppel gewann die Paarung Jana Novotná / Helena Suková mit 6:4 und 6:2 gegen Jo Durie / Mary Joe Fernández.
