Die 12. World Games sollen vom 7. bis 17. August 2025 in Chengdu in der Volksrepublik China stattfinden. Das Land ist zum ersten Mal Gastgeber der Multisportveranstaltung.
Sportarten und Entscheidungen
35 Sportarten sollen bei den World Games 2025 vertreten sein. Erstmals werden Powerboating und Cheerleading vertreten sein. Bei den Behindertensportlern werden erstmals Freitauchen und Jiu Jitsu mit dabei sein. Hingegen nicht mehr vertreten sind Bowling, Wasserski und Rollerskating.[1]
