Winged Skull Gravestone at Cramond Kirk I couldn't see a date on this stone but the winged skull shown at the top of the stone was mainly used on 17th century stones and rarely after. The skull and bones (usually femur) are the symbols of mortality. Cramond Kirk visible in the background.
