Kinloch Castle Kinloch Castle was built for George Bullough around 1900. It is constructed from red sandstone from Corsehill Quarry NY2070, near Annan. From the beginning, the house has been lit by electricity from its own hydro-electric scheme, which is still in use today. Much of the castle reflects the eccentricity of its owner. Barking, in my opinion. But it’s a wonderful building.
