Rugosa

Die Rugosa sind eine ausgestorbene Ordnung der Hexacorallia, die vom mittleren Ordovizium bis zum späten Perm an der Riffbildung beteiligt waren. Der deutsche Name „Runzelkorallen“ entspricht dem lateinischen Namen und nimmt Bezug auf die runzelige Außenhülle.
