In October 2014, the Yaquina Head Lighthouse underwent a Historic Lighthouse Preservation Project (AKA: a clean coat of paint!). The project lasted about 90 days, and involved scaffolding and re-painting the outside of the Lighthouse. You can now see the entire project – day by day.
Yaquina Head was a sight to behold before the preservation work to place, and now it truly is one of Oregon’s gems!
