Relief (commemorative plaque) which was hanging on the wall of the department of Materials science at Delft, University of Technology (The Netherlands), Rotterdamseweg 137. (With the movement of the department during the spring of 2006, it was removed to be taken to the new building, but I'm not sure where the statue is now). It represents W.G. Burgers, father of the Burgers vector

I have made the picture myself, although I don't know exactly the rules for the photography of stones like this. I guess making pictures of statues puts the picture in PD but I am not 100% sure.
