Wilhelm Sander (1895-1934), chief of staff of the SA Group Berlin Brandenburg in the years 1933 to 1934. Picture taken by Daniel Gerth the aide-de-camp of the SA Group Berlin Brandenburg in 1934. Both, Sander and Gerth, were executed by SS-firing-squads on behalf of the National-Socialist Government during the Purge known as "Night of the Long Knives" a few months later on July 1st 1934.
