Viewpoint Mews, Shipmeadow This is the former Beccles and Bugay Workhouse, built in 1767. It closed after WW1 and became a hospital. It is now private housing. The main building is built in the shape of an H with two outward-facing courtyards of which this is the north-westerly one.
