The U.S. Navy guided missile cruiser USS William H. Standley (CG-32) underway in the Pacific Ocean, circa in the 1980s.
Note: The date given, 14 September 1990, has to be incorret, as she was in overhaul at Northwest Marine Iron Works, Portland, Oregon (USA), at that time. Also, she is still equipped with TACAN URN-25 and neither Phalanx CIWS nor Harpoon launchers can be identified. Therefore the photo was probably taken in the late 1970s or early 1980s.
