Powerful magnets-some the most powerful in the world-are available to researchers visiting the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory's Pulsed Field Facility. Located high on a mesa at Los Alamos National Laboratory, the NHMFL-PFF is the only pulsed high field user facility in the country as well as the center of exceptional condensed matter physics research.
