Broadside on the mythical Germanic patriarch Tuiscon, depicted here as a whole-length, standing figure wearing a pale cloak and a long, white beard. A dense mass of clouds nearly fill the sky behind him. The scene is a hand-cloured woodcut by Nikolaus Stör, bounded by a columns and other architectural elements illustrated by Peter Flötner. The legend below is a letterpress verse by Burkhard Waldis. One print in a series of 12 broadsides on early Germanic kings.
