Beschreibung:
The site of King Schaw's Grave. This was originally a large cairn in the form of a St Andrews cross, but in 1828 stones were removed to build a drystone dyke. 150 cartloads were removed when a cist (stone chest) containing a skeleton was discovered. According to legend this could have been the grave of King Schaw, the leader of the Picts. See 858622.
