Performers include Wyclef Jean, who has three Grammy awards for rap and R&B; Jimmy Jam, who has five Grammy awards for songwriting and producing; and Shemekia Copeland, above, a Grammy-nominated blues singer.

The Summit on Race in America runs from April 8-April 10 at the LBJ Library.
