Cast of the tumbstone of Ivan Lenković (1569), from the Franciscan Church in Novo Mesto, preserved in the Nehaj fortress of Senj, Croatia. Ivan Lenković took part in the defence of Vienna from the Turks in 1529. Deputy captain of the Bihac region in 1539, Senj Captain in 1546, and Commander of all Uskoks from Senj to the Sava in 1556. Delegated as main ruler of Croatian and Slavonian regions, he renovated the Senj fortresses and bult the Nehaj castle between 1551 and 1558. He left all duties in 1567 and died at Otočec near Novo Mest in 1569
