Royal Air Force- 2nd Tactical Air Force, 1943-1945.
Operation CARTHAGE: the daylight raid on the Gestapo Headquarters at Shellhuset (Shell House) in Copenhagen, 21 March 1945. The burnt-out remains of Shell House at the corner of Nyropsgade and Kampmandsgade, two months after the raid by 18 De Havilland Mosquito FB Mark VIs of No. 140 Wing, No. 2 Group.

Der Luftangriff auf die Gestapozentrale Kopenhagen wurde am 21. März 1945 von der Royal Air Force (RAF) auf die Gestapozentrale im Shellhaus in Kopenhagen geflogen. Dabei wurde durch einen Irrtum auch eine Schule schwer getroffen. Es wurden drei Angriffswellen geflogen, die zweite und dritte Welle trafen mit voller Wucht die kirchliche Mädchenschule.
