Beschreibung:
Robin of Risingham Robin (or Rob) of Risingham was a stone block on which was carved the Romano-British god Sylvanus Coccidius. Unfortunately, in the eighteenth Century, the local landowner became so annoyed at the number of people visiting the carving that he blew it up to make gateposts. The legs of the original carving are all that remain. In 1983, the Redesdale Society erected this half-size replica in front of the remains of the original stone carving.
