The coat of arms of Cricău commune, according to annex no. 1.2, consists of a triangular shield with rounded edges. In the upper part, on a blue background, there is a gold Dacian flag. At the top of the shield, on a red background, there is a bunch of grapes with two golden leaves. The shield is surmounted by a silver mural crown with a crenellated tower. The meanings of the added elements: The Dacian flag symbolizes the existence of a Dacian fortress in the area - Piatra Craivei. The bunches of grapes signify the viticultural richness of the area. The mural crown with a crenellated tower signifies the fact that the locality has the status of a commune.
