In the town hall on the second floor, there are these prison cells. They were in use until the end of the nineties. When the new police station in Buriet was put into operation, they were changed to archive rooms and a break room. Up to that point Rheineck had its own police station, but that was in another building. That the municipal employees have their break in a former prison cell is kind of funny. Switzerland, Feb 12, 2016.
