Photograph of a Commonwealth Railways poster advertising the Trans-Australian Railway. It was probably published between World War II and the introduction of diesel locomotives of 1951. The orange map shows a route from Cairns to Perth but the Trans-Australian Railway covered only the Perth–Port Augusta segment.
