Procession of the Palms [Hoschana Rabah] among Portuguese Jews. Depicts the observance of Sukkot, or the Feast of Tabernacles, in a procession around the platform (bimah) in the Portuguese Synagogue in Amsterdam of men covered with the prayer shawl and holding the palms.
