Profit-sharing certificate of the Société en Participation du Navire-Express-Rouleur Bazin, issued in Paris on 15 December 1893, originally signed by the inventor Ernest Bazin and by his brother and collaborator Marcel Bazin. Founded in 1893 for the construction of a roller ship. The yearbook of inventions of 1901 contains the following description: "The project of the French engineer Bazin appears to us as an invention of great importance, which has no other purpose than to introduce a completely new system of shipbuilding. The inventor starts from the fact that lenticular floating bodies or rollers, which rotate on their own axis, have no frictional resistance to overcome in the water". The graphic design of the security is by the French artist Lucien Marie François Métivet.
