Gangsa (Gong)Gangsa, regional auch gangha, hansa, ist ein flacher Gong aus Bronze oder Messing, der in der rituellen Musik mehrerer, zum indigenen Volk der Igorot gehörenden Gruppen auf der philippinischen Insel Luzon gespielt wird. Zwischen zwei und sieben gangsa in unterschiedlichen Größen werden bei Zeremonien der Dorfgemeinschaft oder bei Übergangsfeiern (Hochzeiten) häufig zur Begleitung von Tänzen verwendet. Je nachdem, ob der Gong frei hängend in der linken Hand gehalten und mit einem Holzstock in der rechten Hand angeschlagen oder auf den Oberschenkeln des Spielers liegt und mit beiden Händen geschlagen wird, ergeben sich unterschiedliche Klänge. .. weiterlesen
