NGC 5308
NGC 5308 is a smooth, lenticular galaxy with some subtle structural details and a good smattering of globular clusters surrounding it in a halo. You can see them swarming around its periphery like a bunch of bees at a hive. On the right is a very irregular-looking, dim galaxy and a handful of other background galaxies and spiky foreground stars can also be seen.
