Bunny Flat Trailhead lies at 6,950 feet in elevation on the south side of Mount Shasta. Since the Everitt Memorial Highway leading is plowed up to Bunny Flat throughout the winter, the trailhead is used year-round. For mountain climbers it is the most popular beginning for attempts to climb Mount Shasta.
