Mare Ingenii, on the far side of the moon. The dark circular feature is the crater Thomson, with the overflow from Ingenii/Thompson directly to the east. The light gray crater to the south of Mare Ingenii is the crater Obruchev. Although more difficult to make out on this photo, Van De Graaff is the crater located to the northeast of Mare Ingenii.
