The inside of a passage grave that lies half a mile from Bordeaux Harbour on the Channel Island of Guernsey. Open to the public during daylight hours. Photograph taken under natural light conditions from the open entrance door with a relatively long exposure (longer would have been better). On the ceiling to the right of the pillar is a portrait carved into the stone that looks crudely done under artificial light from an electric bulb nearby but brilliantly artistic when photographed under natural light from the doorway on a long exposure, making one wonder whether it was intended for people to spend long periods inside this tomb in order to let their eyes adjust before being confronted by the ghost of its occupant!
