House flag of Duncan Dunbar, London. The flag is made of wool bunting, machine sewn with a linen hoist. A rope and wooden toggle is attached. The design is painted and appliquéd. Inscribed on the hoist: '10FT'. As this company were is business 1810-1862 the flag may be a more modern copy.
A rectangular blue flag bearing a version of the Dunbar arms: gules, a lion rampant and crescent or, within a bordure argent, charged with two estoiles or, two gules and two lozenges or, two gules. Crest: crossed sword and key or.
