Drawing of monumental brass in Elsing Church, Norfolk, of Henry of Grosmont, 4th Earl of Lancaster and Leicester (c.1310-1361) (later KG and 1st Duke of Lancaster)[1], one of the 8 mourners depicted surrounding the main brass of Sir w:Hugh Hastings I (c.1310–1347) of Elsing. On his tunic he displays the arms of Plantagenet with a label of France for difference, being a differenced version of the arms of his ancestor King Henry III. In his right hand he holds his helm atop which is his crest On a chapeau turned up ermine a lion statant guardant crowned or. From his lance flies a pennant of the Cross of St George.
