Beschreibung:
Hall's Viaduct, Crosskeys, Caerphilly. Hall's Tramroad was an 1811 plateway that ran from Risca to the Upper Sirhowy Valley. It was leased by the GWR in 1877 and they converted it to standard gauge. It survived until 1991 to serve Oakdale Colliery, by which time it was one of the oldest lines to remain in use.
The 516ft long Hall's Viaduct spanning the A467, Ebbw River and Ebbw Vale line (soon to be reopened for passengers trains) at Crosskeys is a listed grade ll structure. Photo taken on the bridge deck looking north west.
