George Perez posing with two women cosplaying Wonder Girl (L) and Terra (R). Mr. Perez was the original New Teen Titans artist (circa 1982) and co-created "Terra" with Marv Wolfman. The man is a comics industry legend and just a really nice guy. At last year's D*C costume contest, his and Peter David's puppets (they had puppet versions of themselves emceeing the event) sneezed on my prop cat, Dex-Starr. *THAT* was the highlight of my con last year. :-)

He has this ear-to-ear grin but I think I know why - and it's not for the obvious reason – these two ladies are his nieces! Obviously, the girls love their uncle and think highly of him and dressed up as DC characters he helped define. Way effin' cool...
