Four U.S. Navy Grumman E-1B Tracer of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 111 (VAW-111) Det.12 "Hunters" parked on the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Hornet (CVS-12) in the Pacific Ocean, in January 1970. The aircraft closest to the camera is BuNo 147227. VAW-111 Det. 12 was assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 59 (CVSG-59) aboard the Hornet for "Operation HUKASWEx" in early 1970.
