This smaller fortress, also called Passatiwand, dates like the most other fortifications around Sargans from the period of World War II. It was designed as a regimental fort for 130 soldiers and the command post of the Northern Front. The fort was decommissioned and is privately owned. It is the same owner as of Fort Furggels. The entrance is located on the left side of the crag, 100 meters above the valley floor. Sargans, Switzerland, Jan 23, 2013 (The geotags point to the entrance of the fort).
