Coat of arms of Sogamoso, Colombia. Coat of Arms in Spanish form. Quartered, that is, split by a horizontal and a vertical line that are cut in the center. In the first barracks, azure field, an anthropomorphic image of the sun in gold; in the second, on a gold field, a Phrygian cap of gules, placed on a spear; in the third, on a sinople field a bull facing a saber (that is, the head of a black bull, in front), and in Top of a mural crown with four golden towers masponsed with saber, with three battlements each. The towers have two doors and two square windows. By currency it has a white canvas ribbon, with the legend "SUAMOX, CITY OF THE SUN" in Latin saber characters.
