Beschreibung:
Golden Dart-Poison Frogs (Anomaloglossus beebei) are small, brightly colored tree frogs that live their entire lives (about 5-7 years) inside the cloud forest's bromeliads. Their diet includes small arthropods, ants, termites, small insects, and mosquitoes and midges. Their bright colors -- in patterns of green, red, orange, yellow, blue, white and/or jet black, depending on the species -- are intended to warn predators of their deadly toxins. They may live either in the water or in trees near rivers, streams, and various small bodies of water.
