Lon Chaney Sr. High Sierra House, front view. The cabin is located in the Inyo National Forest, about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) from the Big Pine Creek trail head next to the north fork of Big Pine Creek, Eastern Sierra. The cabin was designed by Paul R. Williams, a noted architect, and was built in 1929.
