Calf eyeball from a dissection done at University of Pennsylvania on 2005 Oct 13. In this photo, the retina has been loosened from the back of the eye and is hanging down (pinkish gray), revealing the tapetum lucidum (opalescent turquoise). The retina is still attached firmly to the optic nerve.
