Budleigh Salterton. The Beach at Budleigh Salterton, I found this a very pleasant and attractive town to stop for my lunch as I walked this section of the coastal path.

Millais painted his famous picture "The Boyhood of Raleigh. 1870" on a visit to the town.

The wall that features in the painting can still be seen.
