Beyond the railing and in the background, a mast stands in the near distance at left, a lifeboat hangs at center and the ocean sprawls into the distance at right.

Sir Benjamin Fuller, king of Australasia's theatrical industry, and who controls 93 theatres in New Zealand and Australia, has come to America to find out how the movies he exhibits are made. Shown here on the SS Monterey as he arrived, Sir Benjamin will spend a month in this country; then go to London before returning to the Antipodes.
