This is a watercolour-on-paper drawing of Banksia dentata. The attributed artist is James Miller, but the work would have been heavily based on a partially coloured sketch by Sydney Parkinson (d. 1771), Sir Joseph Banks' botanical artist who was present when the species was first collected at Endeavour River, Australia.
