BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall Promenaders stand in the central arena, and in a top gallery. These and all seats were packed for this performance, Bernard Haitink conducting the Amsterdam Concertgebauw in Bruckner's 8th symphony. Photo taken during applause at the end of the concert. Visible behind the orchestra and in front of the organ is a bust of Sir Henry Wood, who started the Proms.
