Afon Honddu at Capel-y-ffin Somewhat confusingly there are two rivers named Honddu in Powys. One has its source in Mynydd Eppynt and joins the Usk at Brecon/Aberhonddu, while this one flows down the Vale of Ewyas and curves around to join the Monnow near Llanvihangel Crucorney. It's a lively, tumbling mountain stream known for its brown trout. At this point it runs between church and chapel at Capel-y-ffin.
