The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, H.E. Mrs. Adaljiza Magno, held a Bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, H.E. Dmytro Kuleba, at the Mission of Ukraine, 220 East 51st Street.

Foreign Minister Kuleba expressed his appreciation from the people and the Government to Timor-Leste for its humanitarian aid and solidarity regarding the war in Ukraine. Mr. Kuleba shared the current situation in Ukraine, and further said that Timor-Leste should continue campaign for peace and stability in all region. The both parties discussed on today’s meeting, how to support each other and to continue call international attention to stop the war in Ukraine. Both dignitaries also raised the multilateral and bilateral issues such as the strategy for reconstruction and recovery; adoption of ASEAN and African strategy and other relevant issues.
