2022-06-24 Adaljíza Magno und Frank Bainimarama
Vienna, 23rd of June 2022-The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste, Her Excellency Mrs. Adaljiza Magno, held a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of Fiji, H.E. Frank Bainimarama, in the margin of the 1st Meeting of States Parties of the TPNW. Minister Magno and Prime Minister Fran, emphasized the importance of strengthening the bilateral cooperation such as health, fisheries, climate change, and tourism. In the multilateralism area, they discussed the stability in the Indo-Pacific region; Timor-Leste’s candidacy to the Human Rights Council for the term 2024-2026, and also the process of Timor-Leste's accession to ASEAN and WTO.
This meeting was attended by the Directorate General for Multilateral and Regional Affairs, Mr. Licínio Branco; H.E. Ambassador Bessa; adviser Ms. Natália Sarmento and Fiji’s team.
