From July 14 – 21, 2021, the Instituto do Petróleo e Geologia – Instituto Público (IPG), Through the Hydropower and Geothermal Unit of Hydrogeology and Mineral Resources Division, Lead by Eng. Job Brites dos Santos accompanied by Graduate internship Programe (GIP) Eng. Alino da Cruz successfully conducted geological field work in Leimea-Craik village, Hatulia Sub-District, Ermera Municipality. The primary objective was carefully gathered geological information to support the preliminary study of hydropower and geothermal resources potential that exist along the Grai river, Leimea-Craik village, Hatulia Sub-District, Ermera Municipality. The said activities actively involved cartography, observation and river measurements, hot spring temperature and Measurement.
