2019-03-27 Timorese delegation in Japan
The objective of this official meeting is to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. During the meeting, both Ministers discuss the trilateral cooperation framework between Timor-Leste, Japan and Indonesia in the development of oceanic product especially in the area fishery.
The two members of government also discuss the strategic issues which Timor-Leste’s government intends to achieve and continue with Japanese government especially on the infra structure and human capital development including the rehabilitation project at the President Nicolau Lobato International airport, Díli.
Minister Kono expresses the support of the government of Japan adhesion of Timor-Leste to ASEAN group.
