Tokyo, March 27, 2019 – Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MoFAC), H.E. Mr. Dionísio Babo Soares, accompanied by Director General for Bilateral Affairs-MoFAC, Mr. Isílio Coelho, Timorese Ambassador in Japan, Mr. Filomeno Aleixo da Cruz, pay a courtesy visit to the President Member of Parliament Diet and Japanese Parliament working Group for Timor-Leste, Mr. Gen Nakatani.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss Japanese support to Timor-Leste through the cooperation in some important areas to Timor-Leste.

Mr. Nakatani welcome the intention of the government of Timor-Leste of sending Timorese workers to work in Japan and requests the cooperation of the government of the two countries in implementing the program.
