1967 AMC (American Motors Corporation) Ambassador DPL. The top-of-the-line two-door hardtop model finished in "Apollo Yellow" (paint code: P-25) with optional black vinyl roof cover, and the exclusive for the DPL models, "Satin Chrome" (paint code: P-42) accent on the lower body (replacing the standard full-length stainless steel rocker panel moldings). This car also has the optional "Turbo-Cast" wheel covers and is fitted with Firestone Wide-Oval, size F70x14 thin white stripe tires. This picture was taken with snow on the ground in Maryland.

AMC AmbassadorDer Ambassador war die größte PKW-Baureihe, die die American Motors Corporation (AMC) in den Jahren 1958 bis 1974 herstellte. Der Wagen war bekannt als Rambler Ambassador, Ambassador V8 von Rambler und schließlich AMC Ambassador. Vorher trug diesen Namen der Nash Ambassador, ebenfalls größte Baureihe dieses Herstellers. So wurde der Name Ambassador durchgehend von 1927 bis 1974 gebraucht, von 1927 bis 1931 allerdings lediglich als Bezeichnung einer Ausstattungslinie.
