1960 Pontiac Catalina Sedan (38418991476)

GM created Pontiac in 1926, sold beside the more expensive Oakland. The Oakland was dropped in 1933, the Pontiac continued to be sold until 2010 From the 1959-60, the second generation, the Catalina replaced the Chieftan and Super Chief for its entry level model. The new look in 1959 was that unique Pontiac split grille look, then in 1960 back to a full width grille. The base model was the Catalina (previously Pontiacs Hardtop model), available in 2 or 4 door Sedan, 2 or 4 door Hardtop, Convertible and 4 door Wagon Mid spec still the Star Chief, in 2 or 4 door Sedan and 4 door Hardtop Top model was the Bonneville in 2 door Hardtop, Convertible and Custom 4 door Wagon. Then the short lived, new for 1960, Ventura in 2 or 4 door Hardtop.
