1936 Nash LaFayette four-door sedan. The LaFayette was the low-priced companion in the Nash models. In theory a separate make, it was developed as a "Depression-beater" devoid of gadgets and expensive features. The LaFayette delivered a solid value with huskiness and economy of operation for buyers. Riding on a 113-inch wheelbase and powered by a 217.8-cid staight-six engine, popular body styles were priced from $585 to $715. Picture taken at the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) 2015 Hershey meet that is held every October in Pennsylvania.

Der Nash LaFayette war eine PKW-Baureihe mit Sechszylindermotoren der Nash Motors Company in Kenosha. 1934 erinnerte man sich an den Namen der 1924 aufgekauften LaFayette Motors Corporation, deren Produktion man zugunsten des Ajax 1925 eingestellt hatte. Der neue kleine Sechszylinderwagen unterhalb des Modells Big Six sollte den Traditionsnamen erhalten. Bis 1937 lief dieses Modell als eigene Marke im Nash-Kelvinator-Konzern, dann wurde es mit dem etwas größeren Nash 400 zum Nash LaFayette 400 vereinigt.
